5. Check Wild and Scatter Rules

• Maximum win caps the highest award even if an uncapped multiplication would produce a larger number.

Payout Size Is Not the Same as Probability

This is the most important paytable distinction.

A 100× symbol combination does not mean:

• It appears once every 100 rounds
• It has a 1% probability
• It is due after 99 unsuccessful rounds
• A ₱100 stake is needed to unlock it

The paytable shows the award if a qualifying result occurs. The probability depends on the game's underlying configuration, which can include symbol weighting, reel strips, card combinations, feature frequency and other mathematical rules.

Two outcomes can have the same payout but different probabilities. Two game versions can also display similar symbol values while using different outcome frequencies.

For this reason, a paytable alone cannot be used to calculate a slot's exact RTP unless the complete probability model is also known.

Modern games often display a total currency wager, but some retain coin-based conventions.

Suppose a paytable shows 200 coins for a winning result. The peso value depends on the selected denomination:

That small-looking change affects the game's theoretical return. The name Jacks or Better therefore does not identify the complete configuration.

Check Every Credit Column

Many versions pay proportionally from one to four credits but increase the five-credit Royal Flush award disproportionately. That does not mean five credits are affordable or appropriate; it means the theoretical calculation depends on the complete schedule and wager assumption.

Match the Strategy to the Exact Table

Check:
